Phone Number

If you create quizzes, we collect your phone number for authentication purposes via Firebase Authentication. This is used solely to identify your account and associate quizzes with their creator.

When you create a quiz, we store the quiz content (questions, answer options, and question locations) in Firebase Firestore. When you participate in a quiz, we store your display name, score, and completion status.

Photos

Quiz creators may optionally attach photos to questions. These images are stored in Firebase Storage and are accessible to quiz participants.

Data Retention

Quiz data is retained as long as the quiz creator's account exists. Participant data (names, scores) is stored as part of the quiz record. You can delete your quizzes at any time through the app.

QuizTrail is designed for educational use and may be used by children under the supervision of a teacher or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what is described in this policy. Quiz participants can join anonymously without creating an account.
